Using LDAP Authentication on K1000 not working

Hello everyone,

Im a new user to KACE and have been attempting to setup our Appliance to use LDAP Authentication for the Admin\user section of the appliance. I am able to successfully pull users using the LDAP browser but as soon as I test the config I continue to get this error

OK: Connection Successful.
OK: Setting Protocol Version 3 Successful.
OK: Setting LDAP REFERRALS Option 0 Successful.
OK: Search Bind using LDAP supplied credentials Successful.
Applying search filter [(&(samaccountname=*)(memberOf=CN=KACE_SG,OU=Groups,DC=Contoso,DC=Local,DC=com))]
Error: LDAP search (with filter [(&(samaccountname=*)(memberOf=CN=KACE_SG,OU=Groups,DC=Contoso,DC=Local,DC=com))]) Failed.
Error: LDAP Test Failed. Closing connection.

My BaseDN is set to search the entire directory: DC=Contoso,DC=Local,DC=Com

My Advanced filter is:(&(samaccountname=KBOX_USER)(memberOf=CN=KACE_SG,OU=Groups,DC=Contoso,DC=Local,DC=com))

Our Appliance is a virtual appliance running on 6.4.120756, we are looking at doing an update to the appliance to get it caught up to its latest version.

Thanks,

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

You should contact support for this. LDAP authentication problems

is one of the services you should get for free from them.

It will save you a lot of time trust me.

Every domain setup is different , so you will need someone

to connect to you to see how you are setup and then make the connection for you.
