Combined use of KACE and Workspace One/AirWatch

Hi, all

Has anyone had any experience of working with these two products in a single environment?

We are using both at present and I need some guidelines on how to integrate the two to obtain best results for Licensing Management and UEM.

Thanks in advance

Stephen

There is no integration directly between the two platforms, if you check out our history we used to have the code to port Airwatch devices into KACE (probably still could if we put our mind to it) but due to lack of customer take up, that solution did not get very far. The best chance you have is to use the API's that both tools have, as with the right code on a middleware device you should be able to pass updates between both.

Quest recommends you move from Airwatch to KACE Cloud Mobile Device Manager, which will mean that all of your mobile devices managed via MDM, can also be seen and managed within your SMA.

  • Just an additional update, I have found a presentation that states that the SMA is compatible with Airwatch, via agentless management, I will investigate to see if this functionality is still viable - Hobbsy 4 years ago

The KACE SMA 10.2 has Airwatch integration included into the agentless part of the appliance, you can download the admin guide for further instructions as to how to set this up,

This functionality does use the API as I stated in my initial response, but no middleware server is required
